H ave you ever heard of self hypnosis? Many people have and yet they’re still confused about what it actually means. Some people say that self-hypnosis is a certain type of hypnotic trance and others believe that all forms of hypnosis are self-hypnosis.
The idea behind the notion that all hypnotism is self hypnosis is based on the belief that no one can make us do or think anything, that we allow ourselves to be hypnotized. I tend toward this idea myself. After conducting hypnotherapy sessions for over 20 years, I know that if someone has it set in their mind that no one can hypnotize them then there is no way to hypnotize them. And on the opposite spectrum those individuals open to the idea of hypnosis are quite easy to lead into a trance state.
Power to Change Your Life?
On another note, I’m sure you know people that feel they don’t have the power to change their lives. Or perhaps you’re one of these people yourself. You know the type I’m talking about. They believe their actions are based on destiny, and they really have no choice in the matter as they’re merely along for the ride. This is similar to those folks that say they can’t be hypnotized.
They see themselves as eternal passengers in life’s journey, never in control of their own destiny or fate. But it doesn’t have to be this way. If you’re one of these types of people, do yourself a favor and open up to the possibility of change and the possibility of hypnosis.
The Power of Hypnosis to Change Your Life
You see, with the power of self hypnosis, changes in lifestyles or habits can and do happen. In fact, they can happen in the comfort of your own home if you so choose. I believe all of us have the power to change ourselves, and with a little help from this mighty tool called self-hypnosis you can make that change a reality.
